Thank you DL for the opportunity to discuss some of the key issues in the race for Insurance Commissioner. I hope your readers, and the interview viewers, now better understand why having a well-qualified consumer advocate in this office serves the interests of all who live or work in Delaware.
Anontoo: We have also offered Paul Gallagher this opportunity. As a blog, we’re trying to provide as much direct source content as possible this election year, and you can rest assured that there will be many more interviews to come.
I thought this interview was excellent! Great questions and answers.
Full disclosure – I am a licensed insurance agent in Delaware, thus, because of my own personal ethical beliefs cannot contribute to any campaign or otherwise publicly support any one candidate.
Just wanted to give those who are running a consumer advocate idea.
In my home state, I grew up with my Mom listening to local AM radio. There were constant PSAs from the state IC saying that they would be at certain locations around the state every week (usually on Saturdays) so residents could come by and either ask questions, file a complaint, etc. To me, this was excellent constituent outreach. These locations were usually outside a grocery store, hardware store, etc. Not just booths at fairs and public events.
Sorry, the sound may have been less than optimal. Should be better now.
This is amazing. My little DL is growing up.
Mitch needs to undo his suit jacket and relax.
Good interview.
Great job, everyone! Cassandra, your questions were excellent.
How about having KWS on to show the contrast between her total stupidity and Mitch’s intelligence? That would be a hoot!
On the other hand, we really don’t need yet another demonstration of her brainlessness.
Oh dear — I told Mitch to button up his jacket so it wouldn’t blouse all over the place.
Hope that LG posts this up later. Would like to see how this went. I thought that Mitch sounded great and gave fairly detailed answers.
Would also be interested in what viewers think of this — should we try to do more like this?
ps. Thanks, P!
Yes, do more of these.
I can’t view the video, no matter which browser I use, is there a new link for the video?
OK, the video is now visible from the archive. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you, Mitch, for taking the time to talk with us and our readers. I certainly learned alot from our discussion.
Thanks also to LG who did all of the tech work to make this happen as well as it did!

If you think that the government has a legitimate role to play in looking out for the little guy, you have to like Mitch Crane.

Good interview. Mitch is the man.
Thank you Blu Gal for the excellent suggestion. If I win I will make it happen
Great interview. Very compelling arguments.
Thanks for doing this–it was very informative.
