Late Night Video: The Bangover
The Daily Show looks at using women as a maturing influence on men. Oh yeah, President Obama likes the Daily Show:
I like The Daily Show, so sometimes if I’m home late at night, I’ll catch snippets of that. I think Jon Stewart’s brilliant. It’s amazing to me the degree to which he’s able to cut through a bunch of the nonsense – for young people in particular, where I think he ends up having more credibility than a lot of more conventional news programs do.

So…formulaic, cut and paste, semi-funny snark is more credible to Barack than professional journalism?
Yes. For “young people in particular” the Daily Show has more creditability conventional news programs. But that isn’t saying much given the very low credibility bar set by conventional news programs. Is it?
Whether or not Jon Stewart’s humor is used for attracting an audience is not the issue. The issue is that Mr. Steward does indeed have a talent for presenting issues and foibles in simple, understandable, and straight forward manner. Que Pasa’s comment is more of an ad hominem attack on whether or not Stewart’s core argument is credible.
No, it’s just an ad hominem attack. The quote makes clear what Obama is talking about, and Que Pasa, by twisting a quote we all can see, shows that he can’t be trusted to understand a simple English sentence.
Keep workin’ on that reading comprehension, QP. Even trolls can learn.
