Marco Rubio Fined for Receiving Improper Donations in 2010
Yeah, I know this helps Rubio with the Republican base, but I don’t know if this hurts him enough with the undecided.Politico reports that Rubio was fined for receiving $210,000 “prohibited, excessive and other impermissible contributions” during his 2010 Senatorial campaign.
An FEC review showed that the improper donations came from more than 100 individuals, and in two cases, the campaign accepted corporate contributions, which are illegal. Marco Rubio for Senate also accepted nearly $26,000 for the primary race even after the primary election was already over.
Rubio raised nearly $21 million for his 2010 Senate race, FEC records show, and the improper contributions – while large overall – represent only a fraction of what Rubio raised during the campaign.
This guy is another Sarah Palin waiting to happen. I always get a kick out of Republicans practicing identity politics — and if this guy wasn’t Cuban, he’d have no career at all.
Gee…sounds just like Karen Weldin Stewart’s illegal contributions from vendors to the department and the many lawyer conduits for the insurance industry, except on a larger scale. Why is no one pointing that out? Oh wait…she’s a Democrat.
No, nobody is pointing that out because you don’t have any evidence. You must be incredibly stupid or a conservative … wait, I repeat myself… to not have noticed the anti-KWS sentiment that runs rampant here.
So, once again, put up or shut up, little man.
There’s evidence alright. Who the hell are you to claim there isn’t just because it’s not publicized here? It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with political views.
Pay attention, George:
NO ONE HERE LIKES KWS. She is incompetent. If you have evidence of illegal activity on her part, please present it or shut the fuck up.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
Who the hell are you to claim there is? People keep saying this, and never bring forward anything to illustrate it, let alone prove it. C’mon, put up or shut up.
