Erik Schramm, whose title at UD is strategic business & operations administrator, will soon take a new job as the coordinated campaign director for the House Democratic Caucus.
Schramm has actually only been at UD for not even a year. He left the Dem Caucus, where he held the position of chief of staff to Speaker Bob Gilligan, last summer. The plan was for Schramm to take over as UD’s top lobbyist, replacing the retiring Rick Armitage, once his mandatory “cool down” period had ended this fall (legislative employees have waiting periods before they can start lobbying).
For now, lobbying duties will be handled by Armitage, who is working as a consultant for UD until the end of the session, and Mark Brainard Jr., the son of former Ruth Ann Minner chief of staff and current Delaware Tech campus director Mark Brainard.
fyi – nepotism 101 Mark Brainard, Jr. taking over as UD’s top lobbyist

France has a new President.
Well I was wrong on the percentage of the vote Sarkozy would get, but correct that he would be ousted. Vive la France.
