See What Crazy Eileen Started – UPDATED
We all remember Crazy Eileen, one of the first birthers to go public. Well, Arizona, not satisfied with being the batshit crazy place it’s become, has just added a new ingredient to the mix – birtherism. Their Secretary of State has indicated he may not allow President Obama’s name to appear on the ballot because he’s not convinced he was born in the US.
Sunday Open Thread [5.20.12]
Politico notes it took just 30 minutes for conservatives “to jump all over Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and his leadership team after the GOP’s game plan for dealing with President Barack Obama’s health care law leaked to the media.”
You see, Boehner wanted to somehow pass a bill that preserved the popular parts of the bill, like the bans on lifetime limits and yearly limits and the provisions bannings exclusions based on preexisting conditions, and the part of the bill allowing college students to stay on their parent’s plan until the age of 25. Boehner and his likeminded Republicans are too stupid to realize that will send premiums skyrocketing 1,000% a year, because without the mandate of universal coverage, and without the provision that requires insurance companies to devote 80% of their profits to patient care, the insurance companies will pass on their costs to us.
But the teabagger caucus wants to scrap everything.
Polling Report [5.18.12]
And here we have more national polls that together tell us nothing because each of them tells us a different story. Each of these statements is true, acorrding to one poll or the other: Obama is surging, Romney is surging, and things have remained unchanged in this close election.
We have no state polls today, just national ones.
I really hate giving this vile scumbag thug any publicity ….
whatsoever, but I have to pass along Mike Matthew’s and Steve Newton’s destruction of Evan Quietsch, which you find below. But first, Evan Quietsch, you say? Wasn’t he Christine O’Donnell’s hired goon? Why yes, yes he was.

Looks Like Dori Connor’s In Trouble.
This week’s huge development makes me wonder whether the incumbent state senator will even run for reelection. I’m guessing no. Democrats scored what appears to be quite the recruiting coup as Nicole Poore filed for the 12th Senatorial District seat currently held by Republican Dori Connor. Connor has yet to file. Connor has never had what one would call a credible Democratic challenger in this overwhelmingly-Democratic district.
Support the Middletown Community Band’s Facebook Group
Not having enough on my plate right now, I thought I’d get off my ass on this Middletown Community Band project. If you played an instrument in High School, haven’t touched it in years, but don’t have the heart to sell it at a garage sale – the community band concept is for you. If […]
Coons weighs in on the O’Donnelling of Lugar
I guess Coons is the go to guy to get a quote from whenever teabaggers fire another few rounds at their feet.
