Price to Officially Kick Off Her Candidacy this Saturday [38th RD]

Shirley Price, a life-long resident of the 38th Representative District, will kick off her campaign to represent the 38th in the Delaware House of Representatives at 10 AM on Saturday, June 9th at the Roxana Fire Hall. […] “As a lifelong resident of the 38th district, I know the importance of hard work and the importance of service to constituents,” Price said in announcing her candidacy. “I learned about hard work and doing the right thing beginning at an early age from my parents at Murrays Bait and Tackle Shop. Giving back to the community has been a way of life for me my whole life. I want to work for you to make a positive difference in your neighborhood and communities.
“If elected to serve you in the state legislature, I will focus on “the four Es”: economy, education, environment, empathy for our citizens. I want to work for you to make a positive difference in your neighborhood and our communities.”
Price, a realtor since 2003, was elected to represent the 38th District in 1996 and served as the District’s representative until 2002. Her real estate experience has provided her with the expertise to propose and vote on legislation to protect property values and promote economic development in the 38th.
The 38th RD includes includes Fenwick Island, South Bethany, Bethany, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville and Roxana. If you are downstate this weekend, please attend!
