The only change in our map from last week is moving North Carolina from barely Romney to Lean Romney. Otherwise it has been a pretty quiet polling week, as with all other things. Obama leads Romney 310 to 206 with 22 votes tied. And would some please poll Missouri. Not you Rasmussen and We Ask America. Someone reputable.
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (Gallup Tracking): Obama 48, Romney 43
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (PPP for Daily Kos/SEIU): Obama 48, Romney 45
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (Rasmussen Tracking): Romney 47, Obama 44
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (Democracy Corps): Obama 49, Romney 46
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (Doug Schoen for Newsweek/The Daily Beast): Obama 47, Romney 44
NATIONAL–PRESIDENT (CNN/Opinion Research): Obama 49, Romney 46
FLORIDA–PRESIDENT (We Ask America—R): Obama 46, Romney 45
Remember, we don’t count Republican polls in our map.
NORTH CAROLINA–PRESIDENT (SurveyUSA for Civitas): Romney 50 Obama 45
This puts the state in the Lean Romney camp for the first time.
ALABAMA–PRESIDENT (Capitol Research Survey Center): Romney 51, Obama 36
Is it me, or is Romney incredibly weak in the Deep South. He should be leading 60-30. And why is someone polling Alabama?
HAWAII–SENATOR–DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY (Benenson Strategy Group for Hirono): Mazie Hirono 53, Ed Case 38
Yeah, the more progressive candidate is winning. Still, this is an internal Hirono poll, so we will have to wait and see.
