Late Night Video — Jon Stewart Piles On Bain

Filed in National by on July 17, 2012

Oh yes, and this is hysterical.  Unfortunatly, it spans two videos, so there is that.  It is worth it, I promise you:

Part 1, Bain:

Part 2, Blind Trust:

Lovelovelove these!  My favorite bits:

“I was just the guy with the smokescreen-ish yet still legal title of CEO and Managing Director who was paid at least $100,000 a year to do what, according to me, Mitt Romney, was nothing!  And that’s the kind of common sense business experience I hope to bring to the White House.”

And that really is the point of this campaign.  If you’re a so-called job creator in this country, even if the jobs you create are in India or China, you are legally entitled to wonderful things like offshore tax havens, and carried interest tax rates that are less than half the rate for normal income.  Or $77,000 in business deductions for dressage horse competition expenses.  Yeah, $77,000 tax break to send your horse to the fucking prom!

Horse prom is black tie motherf@ckers.

Romney finally struggles to the ropes and tags in FOX News.

  3. Andrew Groff says:

Romney just may be even more clueless than W. He is a twisted, sick 1%er sociopath. With guys like these, the R’s are dead.

  4. Liberal Elite says:

The thing that’s crazy is that Romney’s tax returns will be leaked all over the internet whether he releases them or not. That probably won’t happen until after he is nominated, but he’s in deep no matter what he does.

The danger for the Dems in pushing so hard right now is that Romney may actually withdraw. Obama should be careful about what he wishes for.

Romney is not going to withdraw. Much like McCain, he has worked too hard and spent too much money to get this close. He could have a bunch of Baby Mommas show up Reille Hunter style and he would not budge. The clarion call of more tax cuts for him and his friends is way too strong.
