Occupations Don’t Work
It was true for Bush, as it has been true for centuries. Unless you are willing to be as bloodthirsty and ruthless as Rome, occupations don’t work.
A man wearing an Afghan military uniform opened fire on U.S. troops in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, killing three soldiers, a spokeswoman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said.
In a separate attack, a suicide bombing in eastern Afghanistan left four Americans dead, including an aid worker and senior members of an Army brigade.
