Romney responds to critics

Filed in National by on August 21, 2012

On how his economic policies will affect America’s middle class, Mitt Romney had this to say to his critics:

The middle class is asking for it. Just looks at what the middle class goes out wearing. The middle class is inciting these policies.

The middle class should be discouraged from dwelling on my economic policies. The middle class will feel better in a few days if they just stop obsessing on my policies. In fact, the middle class can get a better understanding of its own strength, by accepting my policies.

The middle class often makes false reports that my policies will hurt. The middle class actually fantasize about my economic policies.

Only “bad” middle class people dislike my policies.

The middle class has protective secretions that will keep them from being hurt by Romney-Ryan policies.

I can’t believe Romney forgot that one.

Our protective secretion is called “the vote”.

Our vote has bought us twelve years of Republican economic policies looting and shrinking the middle class. Romney and Ryan are proposing to double down on that and accelerate the process. Although I have to admit Obama is treating us to one hell of a traditional Democratic campaign. But all his campaign rhetoric will be put to the test when the Senate is back in session.

OMG. Where did he say this?
