Let Them Eat Cake.
When I saw the following quote by Ann Romney, the woman who presumes to be the First Lady of the United States, I prepared to write up an epic rant that you would come to expect from me. Instead, I think I will just let Mrs. Romney’s words speak for themselves.
Ann Romney says fellow Republicans who’ve criticized her husband need to “stop it” and realize “how lucky” the party is to have Mitt Romney as its nominee.
Ok…
“Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”
Sweet Jesus. And Ann was their “secret weapon.”
So what are the odds that the liberal media will pick up the Angry White Lady meme?
I’m willing to give Ann Romney a pass on this. Imagine being married to someone who has been on an 8 year job interview.
I can imagine (I think). My point being that Ann Romney *can* get a pass for being angry and frustrated without invoking a great deal of stupid cultural baggage.
Ah ….. I get it now. I blame it on only one cup of coffee. That issue is being fixed right now. It’s nice that you said cultural instead of racist . . . oh wait, they’re the same thing. Damn, I need an IV of caffeine.
we also dont know her life story. She’s married to this robot of a man who seems to at best have no emotions and at worst is motivated by greed. Of course her upbringing probably tells her she has to stay with him and obey. I kinda feel bad for Ann. You can almost hear her saying “no, you don’t know him like I do”. We should help her by ending her husband’s career so her hollow marriage has a chance

Is 8:00 a.m. comment posted or not?
Anonymous, your moderated comment was moderated because it was long and contained several links, which is a red flag for our system. I have approved it but moved it to the Thursday Open Thread, as it is more appropriately placed there rather than in this thread.
Thank you for posting.
Wow. Did Ann Rmoney, just scold republicans for ‘nonsense’ from the chattering class?
I guess meeting in the afternoon with the ladies, having the public eat cake, when basically Rmoney’s the tea party’s 1% guy that the petroleum industries want in the White House, tells a more specific story, but one Ann’s behind, no matter how exhausted they both are.
If readers find time to check out anonymous’s link that was moved to Thursdays Open Thread, Rmoney spoke person’s history and Paul Ryan’s Congressional record shows where they stand regarding the tea party. And the last link is Bill McKibben, a founder of 350.org which represents a CO2 ppm figure that his colleague Dr. James Hansen, a climate scientist respected around the world, hopes will be the aim of all. Bill McKibben’s talk effectively brings the message to the religious orgs. while briefly telling of the efforts needed to restore a natural environment. McKibben mentions religion, not politics necessarily, but the first links tells how Rmoney and Ryan stand with the tea party 1% on that.
And wow again. Did Ann say, “….I feel like my best advice is just to bring peace and calm to him and just trust in him and just say, ‘I know you can do it,’ but not to give him any advice because it gets too overwhelming.”
Uh, being President of the United States would get a lot more ‘overwhelming’ then hearing some advice for the chattering class.
Especially since Rmoney’s taking a stand against the entire planet.
If our government can be bought, consider yourself toast..
The best advice is to vote no tea party republicans into office.
Miss Ann (Rmoney) thinks that Democrats are no better than the hoof of her tax-deductible horse:
@ Cassandra – I see what you did there.
I’m tired of Ann Romney.
