  1. Truth Teller says:

    The Repuk’s act like they have been out of power for 30 years when it’s only been a bit under three. I know that they are going to scream that there we go again blaming Bush, but they seem to want us to forget what and which party got us into this down turn.

    President Clinton left Bush with a balanced budget and a huge surplus which he quickly squandered. The stock market was in the tank well under 7,000 and jobs were being lost at a rate of 700,000 a month. the market is now above 13,000 and more private sector jobs have been created in the past 30 months then during Bush’s 8 years. So the Right can yell all they want about blaming Bush an EX President who wasn’t even invited by them to their convention but these are the FACTS folks and remember that facts do not cease to exist just because they are ignored.

    So are we better off now then 4 years ago YES!!!

    Sad that some Americans have reached a point where telling the truth is viewed as a gaffe. Why is this a gaffe exactly? Doesn’t it accurately identify the mindset of a typical brainless lefty voter who has been brainwashed by a typical brainless lefty ideologue in an ivory tower? Wasn’t there a woman in 2008 who thought Ohbummer was going to buy her a house?

  3. pandora says:

    Let me get this straight. The new Republican ideology is to raise taxes on the poor and middle class and cut taxes on the rich. (Actually, I know this isn’t a new ideology, I’m just surprised you guys are saying it out loud instead of in quiet rooms.)

  4. Grin says:

    I’ve noticed that Wingnuts continually get things backwards.

    Look at the ridiculous lengths they go to in “deciding” that there is no such thing as babies conceived via rape, or pregnancies which endanger the life of the mother, so there doesn’t have to be exceptions to their draconian abortion bans.

    They look at studies that show single parent households are more likely to have stressed children, and decide the solution is to make everybody get married and not allow divorce.

    So if there are poor people surviving on food stamps and subsidized housing, we simply take it away and they will NOW be motivated to become stockbrokers.

    Apparently, it’s only we pointy-headed liberals who make stuff complicated.

  5. Roland D. Lebay says:

    @Rockland–

    What exactly was true about Romney’s “47%” remarks? He’s right in that 47% pay no federal income tax. He erred when he assumed all 47% were freeloaders looking for a gubmint handout. Many of the 47% he maligned are his base.

  6. Geezer says:

    “Wasn’t there a woman in 2008 who thought Ohbummer was going to buy her a house?”

    Aren’t there conservatives today who think tax cuts will restore the economy? What’s the difference?
