This was interesting — what I saw of it. More bi-partisan than thou seems to be the order of the day, with Kovach adding in GOP Bad Math.

Back from watching the Rep debate. Cassandra, did the Green/Occupy Delaware protest, expulsions and arrests even make it onto the fringes of the TV screen? Two guys were pulled out in headlocks. . . .

Also was it possible to tell that roughly 30% of the seats in the theater were empty?

Out of about 400 seats in the main theater, there were only about 275 people by my count and the balcony seats were virtually empty.

People at the debates two years ago (Coons and Christina) tell me it was standing room only.

Not that I saw — I missed small bits of it. There was no sense of anything going on outside. And this is the first time I heard about the protest.

You couldn’t see the audience at all from the live stream — just the talking heads at the desk.

The protests and arrests took place in the hall. I was pretty sure you could not see them on TV but I was wondering if anybody could hear them.

I am also taking bets on whether our media covers them tomorrow.
