Okay, I wasn’t even aware of this story until Cassandra mentioned it while we were watching the inauguration. I googled it at the time, and based on these comments in the News Journal article, decided that Nicholas Caggiano would turn up on his own accord. Which he just did.
“Troopers talked to the family who thought he went somewhere to blow off steam,” Fournier said, adding that the family initially did not want anything released on the disappearance.
“It’s unusual for someone of his prominence to not make contact with his family,” he said.
The family told troopers that Caggiano has gone missing before, although no reports had been made previously to police, and that he travels a lot.
I’m not even sure what to make of this. Now, maybe there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for his behavior… but this is one strange story.
