Beau Biden has a mass in his brain.
From Allen Loudell:
Multiple sources say the 44-year-old Biden is undergoing tests at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, which U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT has consistently ranked as the nation’s best hospital for cancer treatment.
Usually, people are evaluated at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for particularly daunting conditions. We already know the Attorney General was evaluated at hospitals in Chicago and Philadelphia. That raises this question: Is Beau Biden being evaluated at M.D. Anderson primarily as a precaution (and it doesn’t hurt to be the son of the Vice President of the United States), or does he really have chronic, complicated issues?
Indeed. This morning, NBC News and the New York Daily News are reporting Beau Biden has a mass in his brain. He is in Houston to figure out whether the mass is malignant.
Biden, who is the Delaware Attorney General, will likely undergo a biopsy today to determine if the mass is malignant. The results for the biopsy is likely to take a few days.
Whether the mass is malignant or not, it is never good to have a mass in your brain, especially depending on where it is. Our prayers and well wishes continue to go out to the Biden family and we hope for the best case scenario.
I am so sick inside hearing this, it makes me nearly non-functional at work today. Lost both my parents to catastrophic malignancies, hope this is not but it brings back all the feelings we had waiting for results. Not a good place to be. I prayed for Beau last night off and on all night, and will continue to do so. AND for his family!
Might I suggest that you fix this: mass is cancerous, or malignant.
I think you mean malignant or benign.
This sounds grave. Because Beau is a stroke survivor, doctors have been taking scans of his brain with some regularity, meaning this mass must have grown quickly, which is a bad sign.
Best to Beau and the rest of the family.
Geek, you’re right, I was trying to further expound on what cancerous meant, but it reads horribly.
Yeah, Geezer, it does.
Man, just hoping for the best for Beau and his family.
Nobody deserves this.
I’m hoping they’re just being extra cautious because of his medical history and the “mass” story is incorrect.
On WGMD this morning callers were claiming the AG’s condition was “Karma,” and the big, fat, liar behind the mic said it was because Joe “lied” about his wife and baby daughter being killed by a drunk truck driver and that the VP brought “grave scandal” to his church by being pro choice.
This is coming from a man who abandoned his daughter with relatives in upstate New York to seek a radio career at the beach in Delaware. I suppose in his world divorcing your wife, abandoning your child and living in sin doesn’t bring “grave scandal” to the same church.
MD Anderson is often the place for a second opinion, a very sound precaution in situations like this. Wishing him and the family all the best through this. We moved here, Wilmington, from Houston, living literally walking distance from MD Anderson.
Wish we were back there to show them around.
@anon: True karma will run over their dogma.
@anon, and these very same people call themselves Christians. The joke’s on them. They will burn forever in Hell when they die, much to their surprise.
What advertisers support that nonsense?
Thankfully- not too many any more
Their market share has dropped tremendously and continues the downward spiral
There is a buyer in the wings – and the first thing will be fat mans contract will be torn up
Maybe if he walks back to New York State he might lose some weight
I Hope all is well and this is just precautionary. This chronic or complex issue could impact Beau’s ability to move into higher political office in the future. The stress of Public Office may impact his health now and down the road. I wish him well!!
