So how’s the last minute Thanksgiving prep going?

In keeping with the spirit of the seaon (i’m just guessing), Richard Land (a leader in the Southern Baptist church) says that single mothers should always give up their babies for adoption. I’m guessing the Land’s aren’t rushing right out to signup for some more mouths to feed — they are just in the business of making more women feel guilty and undermine the family values they only give lip service too.

The White House says it might pursue some immigration reform efforts via Executive Order, since the House isn’t in the business of doing any governing it seems.

And how about the Esquire Official List of Thanksgiving Dinner Trigger Words — the stuff you don’t talk about at the table. Frankly, I have no idea why Bullying is a trigger word. But it is safe to talk about cats, Russian dashcams (love these) and the New Pope. Although if you are at the table with a member of Opus Dei, you might think twice about a discussion about the New Pope.
