So how many episodes of S2 House of Cards have you watched? I’ve seen 2 of them so far and the treachery is fierce with this one.

Even though Volkswagon had no issues with the formation of a union at their plant in Tennessee, the GOP lied and howled and threatened enough to help narrowly defeat a vote for a union yesterday. The take away, of course, is that every time you hear someone in the GOP talk about the middle class or a better deal for workers, you know that is a lie. Because the only people the GOP were defending here were themselves and their anti-union special interests. Of course, you won’t hear one word from the usual “Government should stay out of the way of business” crowd denouncing the GOP’s clear interference with Volkswagon here.

Stealing as Libertarian branding — Rand Paul caught stealing a lawsuit. He took the work done by Reagan-era lawyer Bruce Fein for a class action suit against the NSA, erased Fein’s name, and added Ken Cuccinelli. This ups the plagarism ante, right? This lawsuit is being brought by Paul’s campaign, NOT Paul’s Senatorial office. So this entire business is meant to be a stunt.

But when Paul filed his suit at the U.S. District Court in Washington on Wednesday morning, Fein’s name had been replaced with that of Ken Cuccinelli, the failed Republican gubernatorial candidate in Virginia who until last month had been the state’s attorney general. Cuccinelli has never argued a case in that courthouse, and he isn’t even a member of the D.C. bar (he also filed a motion Wednesday seeking an exception to allow him to argue this case in D.C.). But he is, like Paul, a tea party darling.

Presented without comment on the hypocricy:
