If they spent at much time trying to govern as they spend manufacturing scandals the nation would be a better place.
As predicted Fox News has dropped Obamacare and now is All Benghazi All The Time, but I’m sure the clones will lap it up all the same. I also expect a pathetic song and dance in the house “investigation” that has been promised, third rate political theatre at it’s worst. Sad, as I had hoped for an even 100 attempts to “repeal” Obamacare.
“Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they’d go kill some Americans,” Clinton said. “What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?”
Does anyone agree with that assessment?
BTW it was neither. It was a planned attack…..and does anybody really think that domestic politics didn’t play a role in the handling of the incident, both during, and after the fact?
I pray the GOP makes Benghazi a campaign issue. Not only does it show that they are completely fucking bankrupt and bereft of ideas, but it also allows Clinton to talk about the fact that the GOP’s desire to slashed the diplomatic security budget is fucking nuts.
@fbh “..and does anybody really think that domestic politics didn’t play a role in the handling of the incident”
Who cares? Really?…anyone?? Who cares? Why is this considered a big deal either way??? Name one administration that didn’t engage in political spinning.
And what if it is determined that the administration did put a spin on things? Do you think we then get to redo the 2012 election or something???
This seems like the most stupid idea in the GOP playbook. I’m with jason330. I really hope they run with this, big time.
So, you don’t care if someone acted improperly during a national security crisis that involved people’s lives, and then manipulated the facts so that a political campaign narrative could be preserved?
Every time there’s a national security crisis that involves people lives politicians act like politicians. Sort of like using it to score political points years after it happened with most of the facts now known. Relative to most of the heinous underhanded things politicans do, this is hardly noticeable.
Should Congress investigate the Bush admistration for war crimes? They authorized torture? How far back should we go? How serious need it be to garner attention?
Fucking grow up…
I guess we will see, right? And if anybody in the Bush administration was tangibly guilty of war crimes, then, yes, they should be investigated and punished as well.
