    If I were President, I would propose corporate tax reform along these lines:

    1) Reduce the statutory rate to Ireland’s much vaunted 12.5%
    2) Eliminate all loopholes and writeoffs

    That way, all companies would at least pay the statutory rate and taxpayers no longer have the overhead of all of the loopholes and write downs. Accounting firms will work to kill this, but I think this could be a great deal.
