A Message From Joe Biden – Nothing Has Changed
This is depressing:
Jason330,
I’ve been through a lot of elections, Jason330, and it’s a simple fact that you’re not going to win them all. No matter how hard you work, sometimes things don’t turn out the way you want them to.
But I hope you won’t listen to any of the people who are saying that what happened on one Tuesday night in November changed everything — because they are wrong.
Nothing changed the fact that there are millions of Americans counting on us to create good middle-class jobs, and build better schools for our children. It didn’t change that we still have a lot of work to do together, and two full years to do it.
So I want you to stay committed, keep your head up, and invest in the future of our party. If you’ve saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately.
Thank you, Jason330 — I mean it. Folks like you have always been the Democratic Party’s biggest asset, and there’s nothing that’s going to change that either.
Joe
Dear Joe: Before I give you a nickel, pay back the country the real amount for your vacation in Jackson Hole. At five days for a party of 13, $1,200 won’t cut it.

Dear Joe,
I pay my taxes so guys like you can create good middle-class jobs and build better schools for our children. The Democratic party doesn’t do that. The government does. Maybe you should spend less time over the next two years reaching into my wallet and a little more time doing the things you talk about.
That might be the secret formula to get middle-class Americans believing in the Democratic party again. Then they’ll open their wallets and the party will have a better chance at winning in 2016.
Jason330,
We screwed up. But here is the good news – starting today we aren’t taking any money from banks or finical services industries. None. Nothing. We now realize that working to protect the profits of banks doesn’t serve the interest of the working class Americans who have always been the backbone of the party. So from now on, the DNC will turn away all money from banks so that we can get back to being the party that looks out for the little guy.
That will put us in a fundraising bind, so we will need to depend on people like you to help get the message out. You are the Democratic Party’s biggest asset. Thanks for considering a donation to help return the Democratic Party to its core values.
Sincerely,
Joe Biden
Haha. That’s funny.
I know, right? Well, they’d actually get a donation from me if they decide to use my fundraising letter template.
In 2008, Barack Obama got roughly equal amounts of money in small donations and corporate donations. He had an opportunity to reject big-money politics and instead embraced Wall Street.
That got him labeled a “socialist” by the easily confused members of the Republican Party. Given that, I see no reason to listen to a word a right-winger says. He won’t use the common definitions of those words anyway.
Since he’s in a responsive mood, ask him about Beau.
Tell him you’ll give him a shinny nickel.
Right wingers can’t live in the world of emperical science or reality or eveyone would see them with no clothes
Jason, I am usually not that easy to trick, but is the first letter from Joe Biden real or fake, if real, please refer back to my comments from the 2012 election questioning (and that is putting it nicely) Joe Biden’s intellect.
p.s. you guys, its not to late to change your thinking, remember early in Reagan’s life he was a staunch FDR supporter
Geezer, what got Obama labeled as a Socialist is the simplest reason of all.
HE IS A SOCIALIST!
I feel like I am teaching an elementary school class, but here is goes…
Socialism typically refers to an economic system that puts a premium on “social ownership” of common assets (like the Green Bay Packers, or the Alaskan citizens basic ownership of the Alaskan mineral rights, or even our national public ownership of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)).
It is simply wrong to think of President Obama as a socialist until he promotes some common ownership, or state ownership of something. He hasn’t pursued even a little common ownership of anything, so calling him a socialist basically identifies you as a dummy.
Jason, on the way to social ownership, socialism equals out what everone gets. The Tiger Woods, Bill Gates, Warren Buffets, Tom Bradys of the world get no more than anyone else. Our progresive tax code partially equals out what higher earners get to keep compared to those who earn less. Capitslism on the other hand lets the super bowl champ get the big trophy. It lets the fastest runner get the first place ribbon. It lets the smart businessman earn more and grow their business, and create jobs. Capitalism motivates people to do better, Socialism rewards those who do poorly and fail. Capitalism promotes competition which improves quality and lowers price. Dont believe me, look at generic drug prices since obama care became law. The generic drug companies have merged, and their are alot less of them, so recently they have doubled and quadrupled prices. Still dont believe me, refer to last tuesday’s election results. You socialist can trick some of the people all the time, and you can trick all the people some of the time, but you cant trick all the people all of the time
From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs
Like I said. You are just identifying yourself as a dummy. Words have meanings. You can’t escape that simple fact.
I wonder what social security is, capitalism or socialism, boy, that’s a tough one
Right rusty, no capitalist company has EVER merged before Obama took office. Good catch there.
Add that to the list of things that are all Obamas fault. It will come right after “my milk spoiled in my fridge, I blame Obama.”
As for social security, it is socialism and the American people love it. That’s why we laugh at social security/disability recipients at Tea Party rallies that hold signs calling Obama a socialist.
As if a capitalist entity is gonna help you get by when you are disabled.
He’s Delaware’s “crazy” uncle…
Sussexanon, no, better check with jason, on that, jason says since no public ownership of assets is involved, social security is not socialism
