Who ‘Killed’ Sean Matthews?
No, this is not one of those comic book ‘dream’ issues. Somebody ‘killed’ Sean Matthews. And apparently 200 or more of his supporters.
The ‘deceased’ did not know of their demise until someone from the Democratic Party caught wind of the massive tragedy. And subsequently raised them from the dead.
Here’s the unbelievable story: Both Sean Matthews and Dennis E. Williams had access to the Democratic Party Voter File…until the 10th R. D. officially endorsed Dennis Williams. At that point, only the endorsed candidate had access to the file. Until after the primary, that is. You will recall that Matthews defeated the incumbent D Williams. Which meant that, as of September 10, Matthews was able to access the file.
Only, something had happened in the interim. Someone had gone into the Voter File and marked over 200 voters as ‘deceased’, including Sean Matthews. Only the Williams people had access to the file, and someone or some someones had to actively go in and change the status of these voters to deceased. It wasn’t the Party. They were the ones who spotted the mischief-making and alerted Matthews right away. BTW, virtually none of the alleged deceased were in fact deceased, if any.
Let me be clear that Sean Matthews is not a source for this story. Although he’s alive, or so I understand.
So, mystery lovers, I’ll leave the deduction to you…Who ‘Killed’ Sean Matthews? And vy, Dr. Freud, VY?
Interestingly … your post goes up shortly after the GOP chairman posts a claim about phantom voters on Facebook … and seems to imply that the phantoms are all Democrats.

Official 2014 Delaware voter turnout was 36%. A News Journal article from before the election — “‘Phantoms’ bloat voter rolls” — finds that instead of 642,000 voters, Delaware should only have 480,700 living voters (using US Census numbers for number of adults living in the State).
Using the adjusted number, Election day turnout was really 49%.
Will the Democrats fix the system that they control? Or do they like have 160,000 ‘Phantom’ voters. The fraud potential is stunning.
An interesting find. One quick clarification, anyone who can access a specific voter can mark them as deceased even if they are in a different committee. Also not sure of what benefit there would be to do such a thing. I think user error is a much more likely culprit.
That raises an interesting question. If a checker/challenger at the polls for the General Election was using the Party Voter file, which I think is what they use, then would a D challenger actually have been put in the position of challenging someone’s credentials based upon the fact that their name had been excised from the eligible voter data base?
THAT would have sucked…
In my experience the checker only has a list of the targeted voters, not an exhaustive list so their omission would not imply they’re not eligible to vote. Also don’t really think that’s an appropriate role for a challenger. Especially on behalf of the party that has a rational stance on other fraud.
Is this story recent? Find it hard to believe that this went unnoticed for 9 weeks. May swift justice be visited upon the user account attributed to that data entry.

Voter file bloat is neither uncommon nor concerning. For example, Maryland supposedly has 3.4M records on file, but the Census reported 2.5M in 2010. The problem, as the NJ article stated, is just that people move around and don’t update their registration. Personally, I’m happy that the state isn’t chomping at the bit to purge voters on the chance they actually don’t live in the state anymore. Even if they’re right 90% of the time, that’s still a lot of people that were just disenfranchised because of poor data management.
Does this open up the potential for “stunning” fraud? Maybe, but no more so than the last entirety of our Democracy. On the other hand, what do you call removing 1 out of every 7 African Americans from the voter rolls of 27 state under suspicion of voting twice (http://projects.aljazeera.com/2014/double-voters/)?
Speaking of Copeland, has anyone seen him lately? He looks frail and gaunt. I think we deserve to know if he is about to croak.
Not only is Sean Matthews alive, he responded to a concern I had within 12 hours by phone AND email. Pretty good start, at least from my perspective.
Thought that stuff happens only in City of Wilmington- you mean there aren’t all Democratic angels in the other subdivisions – ha ha
