GOP Impeachment Fever Breaks Hours After Obama’s Clear Message on Immigration

While some conservatives are still in the grip of impeachment fever (see below), for the most part Jeff Sessions of Alambama, a man nobody can call a RINO, appears to be speaking on behalf of the GOP in general when he categorically rules out impeachment as a remedy for conservative's hurt feelings over immigration.
“No, we are not going to impeach or have a move to impeach. The president has certain powers. We truly believe, and I think it's accurate to say he abused those powers,” Sessions said.
It is noteworthy that Sessions was speaking at the Heritage Foundation which has been at the forefront of pushing GOP politicos into unalterably insane positions on immigration. [An Aside: It is also worth noting that TOM CARPER was dead wrong. As you may recall, Carper supported the GOP's protest over the looming immigration executive order and wanted the announcement delayed. Basing his position on the delusional notion that a show of comity would be reciprocated by a grateful GOP, Carper continued to show he is bipartisan to the point of lunacy.]

With the President's action last night, he was able to simultaneously implement his party’s policy goals while dividing the opposition. That’s why Democrats have the advantage in this fight. Republicans will now go mad, from the conservative media to the conservative legislator. From Ted Cruz talking about Roman Dictators to Bill O'Rielly screaming at an undocumented journalist that he does not belong here to the actual bonafide racist Republicans in the House and Senate screaming about brown people and impeachment. It was a brilliant moment in his Presidency. And the President delayed it from September because nervous fuck-wit coward congressional Democrats were a-scared of facing the voters with this policy. They are so fucking stupid they deserved to lose. This immigration makes Republicans forget to hide their bigotry and radicalness. It drives them absolutely insane, and they let the people see it. Ron Klein:
“He’s daring Republicans to offer their sharpest reactions. Everything from government shutdowns to lawsuits to, yes, impeachment will be in the mix, with the driving consensus that the party needs to do something to register its extreme disapproval.” “He’s daring them to offer and pass a different set of policies. The fact that the substance of the executive order won’t take effect for six months gives the new GOP majority in Congress another half year to do what Congress hasn’t been able to do over the decade immigration reform has been on the agenda.”

Welcome. Come out of the shadows now, thanks to a courageous President Obama. I'm sorry this has taken so long but there are a few nativists here who have made the process of legalizing your residency difficult. Let's forgive and ignore them.

I love how conservatives blame immigrants for America's immigration "problems" and rail against President Obama as he attempts to nudge the country toward taking advantage of the desperation of immigrants in a slightly more transparent way. Conservatives hysterically claim that our porous southern border is the problem. It isn't. The problem is the greedy farmer. The problem is the unethical food processing company that doesn't want to pay a living wage or be bound by even the most minimal standards of workplace safety. That's what they found out in Alabama when they really cracked down on the people who employ illegal immigrant labor.
