FEC Files Complaint against Christine O’Donnell

Filed in National by on January 6, 2015

Like Sarah Palin, every once and a while Christine O’Donnell pops up to remind us all that laughably they were once a candidate for high office. Yesterday, the FEC filed a complaint against Christine O’Donnell, her PAC and her treasurer, Matthew Moran, alleging that the aforementioned converted at least $20,000 of donations to her PAC to her own personal use. I am reading the complaint now to see if there are any new revelations inside, and I will update below if there are. See the complaint below….

Must be because she really is a witch

From her FB page, the O’Donnell defense:

Over the past year evidence has emerged that the IRS and FEC have coordinated to target this Administration’s political opponents. That is what this lawsuit is all about. …

Whether you are liberal or conservative, this sort of government bullying affects us all and it’s time to fight back. If you want more details, visit my public facebook page.

That checks out. It was Obama who made her pay her rent with campaign money.

    More from C O’D:

The FEC filed a lawsuit against me based on the politically motivated false complaint that CREW filed during my 2010 campaign. Some people are trying to make an issue out of the fact that I did not take the FEC’s offer to settle with them to prevent this from going to court. Yet, by settling with them I would have had to say I was guilty for something I did not do.

Over the past year, evidence has emerged that the federal government has no problem abusing its power for political purposes. Just two days ago, former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson filed a $35 million lawsuit against the Justice Department for illegal surveillance; she is claiming the Obama administration hacked her computers while she was reporting about various Obama administration scandals.

It doesn’t matter if you’re liberal, conservative, Republican or Democrat, or even a member of the media – abuse of government power affects us all. It’s time to fight back, and that is what I am doing.
This past year we’ve seen evidence emerge that shows the FEC and IRS coordinated to target the political opponents of this Administration. Whether it is abuse at the IRS, the FEC, or the Department of Justice, this administration is repeatedly abusing its power to bully everyday Americans out of the political process, or target them for payback. I am confident that as we proceed with this legal matter, more evidence of abuse of government power will be exposed. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stand up to Goliath and have the chance to expose what’s really going on.

Wonder why they are going after such a small fry weak candidate from some little corrupt state

Everyone knows she’s never had a real job or earned a living, everyone knew she used “campaign donations” to pay her living. When she was just a local crackpot no one cared, when she went national she attracted notice. Why are they going after her now? No idea, but be nice. She single handedly sent the Tea Party in this state back to the dark place from whence it came, Sussex excepted.

I thought SuxCo WAS the dark place from whence it came.

    Bamboozer….

I imagine the filing yesterday is a result of two things: 1) I imagine an expiring statute of limitations is coming up and 2) they were negotiating with her for a while to settle this violation (this is an established fact by her own admission). So she stonewalled and refused to settle even though she obviously and admittedly violated campaign finance laws, so that forces the FEC to officially file a complaint, and I imagine go after her for the full penalty due to her prior intransigence and scapegoating.

“…go after her for the full penalty due to her prior intransigence and scapegoating.”

Good luck to them. This is a woman who made $6 million vanish faster than Leonard Tose in a casino.

You just answered your own question.

Rejoice, Delawareans, her address is listed as New Jersey in the complaint. Proof that prayer does work.

“Let me tell you somethin’, brother. I don’t know how they do it out in Roland Park, maybe prosecutor Bond can enlighten me on that. But my world’s strictly cash and carry, and I am Clay Davis. My people need somethin’ they know where to find me. Let me tell you somethin’, brother. I step out the door, hit the corner of Mosier and Pennsylvania, you better believe my pockets are bulgin’. But by the time I get to Roberts Street…” –State Senator R Clayton Davis (fictional?)

Easy on Sussex County. The east side is full of educated liberals

Sadly, she never got a reality show

  14. Geezer says:

“The east side is full of educated liberals”

Define “full.” Most of them don’t live there full-time.

  15. mouse says:

Well ok, there’s a lot of educated liberals here in the summer in their 2nd homes lol. Although Lewes has a good number of full time educated liberal types

  16. mouse says:

Oh yeah, it is much easier to go after weak people for prosecution
