The Soldiers & Sailors Monument, at Delaware Avenue, Broom Street, and 14th Street in Wilmington. The monument used a column from Benjamin Latrobe’s 1801 Bank of Pennsylvania building, which was demolished in 1868 and is considered to be the first example of Greek Revival architecture in the United States.
