Daugherty Hall, on Main Street in Newark, or as normal people call it, the First Presbyterian Church. The Church was built in 1871. UD bought the specific-Church-looking building in 1967 when the congregation moved into Newark’s suburbs, for use as a study center and dining facility. I just find it out whenever Churches are used as secular buildings later on. It kinda devalues the whole God and religion thing, since you are saying that God’s house can be sold.
