This is why Sanders is kicking ass
Just watch Bernie’s plain spoken hammer of common sense and decency smash the media memes and tropes the reports want to prop up.
SANDERS TAKES ON CORPORATE MEDIA IN IOWA
Bernie Sanders takes on reporters for their failure to address the issues. Watch….

Hmmmm.
I don’t care who wins the Dem nomination, but if its Sanders, I hope he gets to face off against Trump.
I like Sanders. Trump is entertaining. Neither is going to be the nominee of their respective parties.
Bernie = higher taxes!
I like Bernie and his stand on issues. I also want a Democrat who can win next year and, at least, keep the Supreme Court from becoming more conservative. I have learned a lesson about supporting who is best on issues and who is electable.
In 1968 I supported McCarthy
In 1972 I supported McGovern
In 1976 it was Morris Udall
In 1980 Ted Kennedy
In 1984 Gary Hart
In 1988 Paul Simon (not the singer)
In 1992 Paul Tsongas
I loved them all and got to know all but Tsongas personally.
I want the most progressive electable candidate. Bernie is not that person.
Point 1 – Obviously I need to state this again. The concept of electability is false. A Catholic, a black, a woman, &c, weren’t electable until we said they were electable. It’s a made up concept. I’m not basing my support for a candidate on a made up concept.
Point 2 – @Anonymous – We know Sanders supports higher taxes. You wrote that (with an exclamation mark and all!) like you’re announcing some big fucking secret. We know this. We know it’s absolutely necessary for the progress of the country and we all support it. Minimum wage workers are starving and our bridges are collapsing. If I need to kick in more to address this then that’s what I’ll do.
I do agree that Sanders likely won’t be the nominee. There’s way to much time to go. That’s why all this talk about HRC numbers slipping is about 9 months premature.
If Clinton is the nominee, the GOP wins.
Poor Geezer, out of meds and all alone in the world.
Yeah
Unless they have a fatal blow with all this email crap, she’s an easy win unless Bernie bumps her off and I’m easily feeling the bern
If Clinton is the Nominee She wins and Wall Street then wins
I think Geezer has a point. There is electability and likeability. Clinton, reminding everyone of their bitchass ex-wife, (I’m paraphrasing) is lacking in likeability.
@ Dorian, please enlighten us all. Then run for political office.
Social Security, the baby boomers, healthcare costs?
Look at the state level: Roads, bridges. So our Gov., takes $40 million from the Transportation Fund, to go into the general budget. Again, for the second year, WHY!
Because the Government is getting TOO BIG & we are opening the borders and taking care of everyone with handouts.
Clinton will clearly sign the first mandatory electronic in plant bill
As a side note, I do like how people think it’s going to be anyone but hillary. The nonsense that Sanders has a shot with virtually no endorsements, or that Biden may disrupt everything and join the fray. It sure is filling up the news cycles and pushing out important things going on in our country and around the world.
Hillary v. Jeb Ink it.
Running for political office? It’s beneath me. It offends my sense of good taste. Without getting into great detail (which would likely offend people here) the idea of creating ghastly yard signs, begging for money, trying to convince the marginally literate to vote for me… I’d prefer to do anything else.
We need higher taxes on the 1%
Believe Donviti to be correct, it’s Clinton vs. the Jebuloid. The almighty gods of greed we call billionaires will ultimately play it safe and pour on the millions for Jeb, a known commodity and perhaps less of a clown than Walker.
“There is electability and likeability. ”
I agree that Clinton lacks likeability. I don’t like her either. Still my criteria is not likeability, but pragmatic leadership. Besides, everyone likes Bill and if you get Hillary you get Bill.
Jebulon 9 will take it, but only because Trump will not qualify for the primary ballot in many states.
That said, Trump will make the primary ballot in many states and win the nomination. I know because I am always wrong about what is going to happen to Trump.

John – Thanks for linking to this. This essay makes a good argument that there may be more of a liberal in there then people here give her credit for (with yours truly one of the most critical.)
She has taken a stand in support of the Iran deal even as a billionaire support of hers is staunchly against (Haim Saban). At least on this very important issue she doesn’t seem to be corrupted by money.
Her Senate voting history is left of Obama’s, Biden’s and Kerry’s. (Of course the Iraq war vote is a wen on the face of that record, to be fair.)
Even the ex-ACORN guy who’s working for Sanders complements her.
It’s clear she’s not so hot on environmental issues, but again I don’t think we can expect a perfect, 100% pure platform. That’s totally unrealistic.
Thanks for sharing this. Everyone should read it. It’s a good addition to this discussion…
