Full disclosure: I “watched” about 20 minutes of this off and on while having a conversation with my wife. I think moderators get a hard time.
1.) You have a legion of politicians trying to get a preplanned message out that has little-to-nothing to do with the questions posed.
2.) You have candidates at different stages of desperation who need to pull some big viral moment out of their ass.
3.) You have candidates who certainly know they have little chance of being nominated let alone elected who are there to get their name out to sell books and/or TV talking head gigs.
I defy anyone to quote-moderate-unquote a quote-debate-unquote given these and other circumstances.
These aren’t debates. There are made-for-TV panel chat shows no different than Real Time with Bill Maher, The View, &c.
I wonder how many hamburgers he could eat in 1 sitting
lol. I think Becky Quick asked him that last night.
I watched. I absolutely loved Huckabee’s plan to lower medicare (and I guess all medical) costs. Cure cancer and heart disease! Not. Kidding.
CNBC moderators were a disgrace.

I didn’t see it all but the excerpts I have seen look as bad or worse than the Fox debate
