Was Saddam good at killing terrorists?

Trump said:

But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights—they didn’t talk, they were a terrorist, it was over.”

All of that, in addition to being crazy, is simply not true. Saddam Hussein is estimated to have killed tens of thousands of Iraqis civilians during his time in power. He was the terrorist. He also provided facilities and funding for terrorist groups fighting the governments of Iran and Turkey.

The press will cover the craziness of this statement, but will they add that as far as accuracy is concerned, it is horseshit? I doubt it.
