DL Does the Peach Festival
It was the political place to be, with multiple candidates taking part in the oft delayed parade (due to at least 7 people suffering from heat stroke or bee stings). But Delaware Liberal was there (LiberalGeek marched, I watched and took pictures and Jason330 interviewed people). We have brief interviews of Bethany Hall Long, Matt Meyer, Hans Reigle and Kevin Hensley. Jason, suffering from heat stroke no doubt, also interviewed a Corona at the end.

For the record I wasn’t making fun of the candidates with that last video. It was just so bloody hot.
Also, that Hensley volunteer is going places. The little towels she had were soaked in ice water making the tge best political give away item in history.
Didn’t get Simpler, Bonini, Lafferty, Popitti or Carney. I’d have liked to speak to them.
The candidate that might have won the election through his parade performance (and I am not sure if he was even there) was Ciro Poppitti. His volunteers and parade marchers handed out Ciro hand fans so everyone could cool themselves off. Brilliant. And they were everywhere. And people were talking about it and that Ciro guy. LOL.
Yeah, because waving a fan at yourself actually cools you off. Hopefully you aren’t that stupid. BHL’s team was handing out cold water soaked towels with the BHL logo on them. I’d say stands a little better chance than waving a goofy fan at yourself. #Idiot
