The Correct Wilmington Election Map
Click on the image for the large version. Hey, DOE, where is the missing 14th Election District of the 4th RD? Your raw data reports contain no information concerning this district. I sense a conspiracy of biblical proportions (but given the district’s placement, the votes likely benefit Purzycki or Kelley).
I thought Purzycki was the King of the Riverfront?
Map shows what many of us had anticipated prior to the election — Purzycki and Kelley would divvy up most of the west side, and Williams and Gregory would take the north/northeast. Young captured the center of the city and made inroads into presumed Williams/Gregory territory in Southbridge and old Ninth Ward. If he had made a bigger dent into the Kelley/Purzycki strongholds, he would have won. Regardless, it shows that Young had a more diverse group of supporters than any of his opponents. The future belongs to him.
