Creepy spinless sellout, Ted Cruz, to support Trump

I’m actually surprised. I thought Cruz was positioning himself as the phoenix that would rise out the ashes of the Trump incinerated GOP. Cruz no doubt thinks that either a) Trump is going to win, or b) Trump is going to lose but emerge as the GOP shot caller after the election.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is reportedly expected to throw his support behind Donald Trump as the GOP nominee.

Cruz’s statement of support could come as early as Friday, according to anonymous sources close to Cruz cited in a Politico report.

Sources familiar with the decision confirmed the report to CNN.

At a Bloomberg Live event on Wednesday, Cruz’s former presidential campaign manager, Jeff Roe, said that Cruz “thinks about it every day,” in reference to a possible endorsement.
