It’s called the old First Presbyterian Church, on Park Drive at West Street in Wilmington. The church was built in 1740, and was originally at 10th & Market Streets. The church was moved into Brandywine Park in 1917 when the Wilmington Free Library was planned.
I am looking for info on the building that was recently torn down at 101 avenue of the arts Wilmington, DE. I was at the site today and struck by its loss. I rescued some hand sawn timbers and am looking for a back story. I do not like cities as a rule, but being there and having the Kalmar Knickel sp go motoring by made it for me.
Mr. Pandora and I were married in that church!
Cool, any history?
