A horrid wish…
I have a horrid wish that I recoil from as it rises in my heart. I wish that Tom Carper would go ahead, as he as he seems willing to do, and vote for the Trump/Ryan plan to phase out Medicare.
Then he would be beatable in a primary and it he survived the primary he would certainly lose in the general.
I think he’s beatable now. Trust me when I say that there are some shocking things to come in my review of Carper’s record. Together, there are enough Carper ‘horribles’ to make him vulnerable and to provide plenty of opposition research.
However, he’s only beatable if a top-notch opponent steps up. Any one of Denn, Eugene Young, or Townsend would do.

It would have to be someone with a statewide footprint. Therefor… “other”
I would have added Denn to the poll.
Which is why I voted ‘Other’.
BTW, in spending some time rooting around Carper’s campaign contributions, I saw that he contributed equally to both Sean Barney and Lisa Blunt Rochester. Someone needs to drive a figurative stake through the heart of Barney.
