From The Guardian:
Five people were killed in a shooting at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida on Friday, the local sheriff’s office said.
The Broward County sheriff’s office used Twitter to confirm the shooting and say five people were dead, eight injured people had been sent to local hospitals and a suspect was in custody.
The shooting took place around 1pm ET. At 2.50pm, the sheriff’s office said there was an active search for another gunman, after unconfirmed reports of possible additional shots on airport property.
But guns aren’t the problem.
