Sigh. Though former State Senate Pro Tempore Patricia Blevins may be somewhat qualified for the executive director of the state Office of Animal Welfare, this just stinks of the Delaware Way. From the Delaware Online article: “The state conducted a national search to replace Brown, a former Delaware state director for the Humane Society of the United States.” And the person found was a retired Delaware State Senator. Give me a break.
