Coons completely snowed by Tillerson
Coons is a patsy. He is one of those Democrats who STILL expects Republicans act with some sense of decency and decorum. In spite of everything we’ve been through, he regards Republicans as acting in good faith. His naivety would be funny if the times didn’t make it so sickening.

Rubio was much tougher on Tillerson than Coons.
@Chris: Yes, and it’s easy to explain why: Rubio wants to run for president again as a Republican, so he was grandstanding. Coons wants to get re-elected to the Senate without spending any money or attracting a strong challenger, so he’s trying not to make waves.
Ah… it’s a profit deal. Coons isn’t displaying naivety, but a depraved cowardice.

When he ran against Sherry Freebury, he told me there was no choice but ask for a tax increase. He then ran at least one mailer that pledged no tax increases.
