One of the poorest excuses for ‘journalism’ I’ve read in a long time. Made me want to ‘fwow’ up:
The guilty journalist is one Adam Duvernay. Who may well be auditioning for a role as her press secretary since this puff piece is a PR release if ever there was one.
A couple of excerpts from the ‘After a Month, Rochester Finding Her Direction‘ piece:
No, never mind. It’s all totally insipid. Did you know that she still hasn’t had time to decorate her office? Did you know that she likes to carpool with other female representatives? Did you know how she has taken the time to sit down with the leader of the Delaware Farm Bureau?
Oh, and the answers to the questions you’d like to know? They appear not to have been asked and certainly not answered.
If Lisa is smart, she won’t hire this guy. Better to have him on the ‘newspaper’s’ payroll, whispering sweet nothings into the readers’ ear.
(BTW, according to Delaware Online, Duvernay is an ‘investigative reporter’ for the News Journal. Sometimes the jokes write themselves, and sometimes the jokers write.)
