Carney has already said that raising taxes on the wealthiest corporations (that have hoarded all the economic gains of the past 25 years) is “off the table” so this listening tour is to get your thoughts on who Delaware should fuck over. Public Schools, teachers, parks, the incarcerated, the elderly, state employees? Show up at one of these and tell Carney who you think should be screwed.

Governor Carney will join members of the General Assembly – Democrats and Republicans – at their constituent coffees and town hall events to discuss Delaware’s budget challenges and listen to ideas from members of the public.

If you can’t make one of these meetings, here is a form you can use to send in your thoughs on who should be screwed so Carney can ensure his Chamber buddies don’t have to pay their fair share.
And if you can’t do either of those, at least pledge $25 toward helping hold Carney accountable for his conservative, right wing economic polices. Our goal this week (and for each of the the next 52 weeks) is to add THREE more people to pledge money toward helping fund a primary challenger to John Carney unless he veers away from his stated goal of balancing the state budget on the backs of working families.
If you have already pledged, help find other like minded people in your circle who think Carney’s plans to cut services while lavishing tax breaks on our wealthiest corporations is despicable. Let them know that their card will not be charged unless a legitimate primary candidate is found, and that their pledge will help John Carney clarfy his thinking about who he is actually supposed to be working for.
