‘Bulo’s Fave Tunes: March 2017

After a third consecutive month of musical bounty, I think I’m getting better with age…at least when it comes to unearthing great music.  Dynamite tunes from artists both familiar and brand new to you and me:

These guys played at the Arden Shady Grove Fest when they were 17.  Now, they’re opening for the Rolling Stones and putting out great songs like this one:

 

This song is from last year, but the video is new. And amazing.  It’s official: A Tribe Called Quest is the Greatest Rap Group Ever.  At least to this 66 year-old Jewish guy from suburbia:

I love this guy.  Working to bring him back to the Arden Gild Hall.  Best one-man band I’ve ever seen:

I think Alyndra Lee Segarra is one of the most important voices of our time.  There are at least three great songs on her new Hurray For the Riff Raff album.  Right now, this is the one I like best b/c its the anthem we need:
