More Tippy Goodness – Pete Schwartzkopf to hang up his holster?
People are saying that Pete will not run again. According to the indirect source, Pete didn’t like campaigning in either the primary or general election. If that’s true, Don Peterson is a hero.
I agree with the tipster. Don Peterson was already my hero for undertaking to expose Pete Schwartzkopf. If Pete quits because he didn’t like having to speak to actual voters, Peterson is even more my hero than he already was.
This doesn’t pass the smell test. One of Delaware’s most powerful politicians is gonna step aside b/c he didn’t like campaigning?
I love Don Peterson, but Schwartzkopf won a solid victory.

With Carper running for re-election, I have a hard time believing this. The only reason that I could see Schwartzkopf stepping down would be to run for Carper’s seat. The argument that he doesn’t like campaigning is silly. He hasn’t had a real threat in years. Im sure Don is a nice man, but I didn’t hear about Pete breaking his back campaigning.
