Do you know why the #lights on the Charles W. Cullen Bridge are blue? You can thank #bats for that! Bats have an internal magnetic compass to orient themselves in the night #sky. This compass depends on wavelengths of light to tell the creature where it is or where it needs to go. Unlike other colors, blue light does not disorient them during nighttime hunting, guiding their natural compass in the right direction.
