Yesterday on NPR I heard a victim of Harvey at the Houston convention center complaining about having to wait in line for over an hour for a blanket. She also criticized the security personnel and reiterated her annoyance with waiting in line. She went on to complain about no one giving her her medicine for her heart condition and her high blood pressure, the lack of showers, etc. I thought what a typical asshole American. Poor bitch had to wait in line for her government handout. Sucked the liberal right out of me. I was listening all day and they never replayed that clip.
Meatball, how would you suggest she handle potentially losing everything… possibly family and friends suddenly and violently?
People are gonna react to tragedy and trauma however they react. Sometimes it isnt rational. Poor woman (you used a different word) was probably on 40+hrs of no sleep and not a lot of food. You try getting hangry and tired after your house gets swept away and see how YOU handle a mic shoved in your face.
