‘Bulo’s Fave Tunes: September, 2017
Was starting to get a little concerned, but the last week of the month saved me. As always, some real great stuff:

One of my faves. A great road-tested band, and a great new album. Catch her live:
You’re welcome.
There is a band called The Parting Gifts:

I’ve heard worse:

But I’ve heard better.
It’s almost a rule of life: If you think of a funny band name, someone is already using it.
My friend Jerry Grant came up with a great band name that hasn’t been used:
“The High Colonics”.
I checked.
Don’t anybody steal it.
I stole it from John Rabe, who used to do the morning shift on WHYY-FM back in the early 90s (I think). I don’t believe he ever used it for an actual band.
I’m not sure if anyone ever used the Disgruntled Former Employees. Google couldn’t find them.
