The Order, the Rebels …all this fighting, what’s the point?
It is art (in its own way) worth not spoiling, So my quick review of ‘Star Wars: the Last Jedi’ is in the comment section. My comments are few, because this review Gets it right.

Fro m the opening horn flourish and the beginning of the Serial Scroll, I am right back in my 14 year old skin. Before Star Wars was a huge international licensing juggernaut, there was simply the out and out excitement of the thing unfolding, moment by moment on the screen. The Hero’s Journey, the quest, the sword fights. The original Star War was (and is) genius.
But after the scroll this isn’t my Star Wars. It isn’t sentimental. It is pissed off. Dark side? Light side? What the fuck? Why all the fighting? There is a lot to this for today’s audiences.
I watched it last night after i turned off the horrible christmas story live – i thought star wars was ok. it looked like they are just beginning a phase of all new movies without having to deal with the old and original cast.
