What campaign is Mitch Crane quitting the IC’s office to run?
See what I did there? Took a piece of info and jumped ten steps into the future. I do that sometimes. Especially when I see talented pols like Crane making moves like this.

“talented pols like Crane”? In what universe? Is this satire? Mitch, thank you for your service. Seriously. Enjoy your retirement. Peace out.
Who is gonna be the IC now?
So… nobody knows? Is that what I’m getting here. The headline is not a rhetorical question people.
Somebody for State Treasurer?
That makes lot of sense, actually. Whoever snagged him is the early favorite.
Based on what? His own campaign? He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
His experience running the Sussex County Dems? No offense, he tried, but the results weren’t there.
So, you’ve got Navarro’s win. And KWS had overstayed her sell-by date.
You and I are going to disagree on Crane. Your critique is/was valid and hopefully informs his work going forward.
It’s not so much Crane, but the way campaigns have changed even since I used to run them. The amount of grassroots organization and analytical thinking that goes into even some campaigns for the General Assembly dwarfs what came before.
I know that I couldn’t run a successful campaign today, and I doubt that Mitch could either. Campaigns are just changing too quickly. It’s why, for example, Bob Marshall has no chance against Tizzy Lockman. Her campaign is scary good. A mom-and-pop operation can’t stand up to that.
That was fun. Thanks
C’mon Mitch… spill it.
Look at that photo. Very coy, this cat. 🙂
