It was a geezer magnet like the former Howard Johnsons on Kirkwood highway on Limestone road. Used to be packed on Saturday & Sunday mornings but the crowds died off. Honestly I thought it was gone years ago.
It was on a nice spot (for me), so ended up there from time to time. I’d love to see some local brewer take it over. [Could anything be as hipster as a Diner/Brewery?]
Anyway, because of the location, land will probably be sold to Wawa or Royal Farms.
The place was mediocre at best…..it skeeved a lot of people out. Not a huge loss to Delaware’s culinary scene.

It was one of those Delaware establishments you went to as a lark – there, the Jackson inn, attilos, etc. places that survive on nostalgia alone
I like the flowering tree.
That actually looks like Wisteria growing on the building. If so, that might be why it is closing, major damage from the weight of the vines.
