PROGRESSIVES PUSH DEMS ON SENATE BANKING BILL — The Senate’s banking regulatory reform bill is due to hit the floor as soon as next week. Progressives are pressuring Democrats to oppose it.

Tom Carper’s primary challenger is also making an issue of his co-sponsorship of S. 2155, noting that high bank profitability doesn’t suggest regulations are a burden.”
