Three of the 10 deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history have occurred in just the past five months, leading to lots of talk about various gun control measures. Last October, the New York Times ran this infographic to show the public support for various proposals, charted against the popularity of each one. The polling numbers wouldn’t be exactly the same today, but this is recent enough to give people a clear picture of what people would like to see enacted, and what experts say would actually work to minimize mass shootings.
