Delaware: today is school board elections.

Filed in National by on May 8, 2018

You don’t have to have kids in school. You don’t have to be registered to vote. You don’t have to be a member of a party. You just need to show that you live in your school district.
It all works better when we all vote.

If you are in Red Clay please get to a polling place and vote for Jose Matthews. He seems to be exactly the kind of new blood Red Clay needs. In a low turnout race your vote could make a difference.

Polls close 8pm; vote at most Red Clay schools, bring ID. From the Red Clay website:

Voters must have proof of identity and a Red Clay address, and be at least 18 years old. People may vote at any Polling Place from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the day of the election. Polling Places include most Red Clay schools, and the Hilltop Lutheran Community Center.

One of the candidates for a seat on the Milford school board discusses how he would be great for CR. You cannot make this stuff up.

“5/8/18 at 6:20 pm. Just received a call from your organization reminding me to vote in the local school board election, being held today! Here’s a tip….perhaps, leaving the message a few days earlier would be smarter!”

yeah. You have a point. I also could have been beating the drum sooner and more loudly.

    Keep on trucking tipster!
