ho, hum…Trump brazenly lies…just another day
Attorney General Jeff Sessions flagged a new immigration policy in a speech earlier this month, when he pledged to criminally prosecute as many illegal border crossing cases “as humanly possible.”
“If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you and that child will be separated from you as required by law,” Sessions said. “If you don’t like that, then don’t smuggle children over our border.”
This morning Trump tweeted:
Put pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law that separates children from there parents once they cross the Border into the U.S. Catch and Release, Lottery and Chain must also go with it and we MUST continue building the WALL! DEMOCRATS ARE PROTECTING MS-13 THUGS.
Our system simply isn’t able to contend with a President that will brazenly lie.
Notice the corporate media duly reports what Trump said, and then offers no rejoinder to point out his lies. This one really gets me as it ignores that it’s Trump’s executive order that put it in place and the Republicans control all branches of the government. Typical old liar statement that goes unchallenged by the aleged “watchdogs” of the media.
What is not a lie? 1500 immigrant children are missing…has Homeland put their faces on a milk carton yet? or did they just end up in the human trafficing operation.
